The Amazing Lefkada Beaches
Mikros Gialos – Nearby pebble beach with crystal waters and tavernas – 15 minutes walk and 5 minute drive through dirt road
Mikros Gialos is located in a natural bay and it creates an impressive crescent with white pebbles, which overlooks a crystal clear turquoise sea. The mountains that surround the bay are an obstacle to strong winds, the sea is making almost always calm. There are umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach.
Walking/Driving Route to Mikros Gialos:
There is a 3,3 Km dirt road (which can be also taken by Jeep) to Mikros Gialos. It is a very safe and large road if one wants to walk, bike or take a car (preferably a jeep but a car can also be used). The walk is about 20 minutes.
Agiofili Beach – Very Close to Dynasty Villas
Agiofili beach is situated close to the village of Vassiliki and Sivota. This beach is covered by white soft sand that make the view more beautiful and unique with brilliant crystal waters. There is a taxi boat from Vasiliki that goes from the port where the restaurants and cafes are and also there is a route by car and a parking lot on top of the beach.

Amouso beach
This is an organized beach with a café and tavern which is quiet and there are two more secluded small beaches which are less well known on the west of this beach 500 meters away on the coastal road.

Afteli beach
Drive to the village of Evgiros and then down the narrow windy tarmac road to the shingle beach of Afteli. A beautiful, small bay with a café bar and not very well known. Good for snorkeling. Easy parking, with a short walk to the beach. No sun loungers or umbrellas.

Dessimi beach
The beach is located on a small peninsula 22 km south of Lefkada Town and close to Vlichos. You have to walk through to a large camping to reach the beach. There are a few sun loungers and umbrellas for rent and three tavernas with excellent food.

Egremni beach
The long sandy beaches are surrounded by impressive barren cliffs that create a magnificent backdrop. The white sand, shiny pebbles and crystal clear waters compose an exotic setting that attracts thousands of visitors every summer. The only way to get to the beach is by boat from Vassiliki this year of 2015 as the stairway with the 350 stairs is under repair.

Porto Katsiki
Porto Katsiki is one of the main beach attractions of Lefkada and among the 10 best beaches in Greece and in the Mediterranean. It is located 45 km southwest of the island’s capital and close to Athani village.

Pefkoulia (also known as The Deck)
A long beach of coarse sand. One tavern with a swimming pool, one café bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas for hire or you can walk further away from the tavern and just lie on the beach.

Agios Nikitas
Agios Nikitas is a small fishing village located 13 km southwest of Lefkada Town and very close to Kathisma beach. It is the small bay of Ag. Nikitas and you have to park at the top and walk down through the village. It is quite popular for the great facilities and the relaxing atmosphere, ideal for small children. There are no sun loungers and umbrellas, only one tavern on the beach and two café bars.

Milos Beach
South of Ag. Nikitas is the sandy beach of Milos. Mylos is characterized by its unspoilt environment and beautiful features. It doesn’t have any tourist facilities but impresses visitors with the large size, the soft sand and the crystal water.

Kathisma
Kathisma is arguably one of the most beautiful of sandy beach of Lefkada. One of the most famous beaches of Lefkada with fine white sand and sparkling waters of amazing turquoise color. Kathisma is also an ideal destination for several water sports, and especially sky parachute. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas cover the huge area.
